En el presente trabajo se realizó una propuesta de ejercicios para mejorar la pronunciación del inglés, en las especialidades Medicina General Integral, Estomatología General Integral y Colaboración, primer semestre, ya que la pronunciación constituye un elemento fundamental en la competencia comunicativa logrando generar de una forma más eficiente y productiva el dominio del idioma inglés. Se emplearon métodos teóricos y empíricos. Los resultados de los instrumentos aplicados y el diagnóstico nos llevaron a elaborar una propuesta de ejercicios, los que constituyen una importante herramienta didáctica a disposición de los profesores de inglés y les permitió desarrollar una mejor pronunciación en los estudiantes.Palabras clave: Sonidos, Fonética, pronunciación. ABSTRACTNowadays one of the principal problems of the learners is that they do not pronounce correctly the English language. In the present work it was fulfilled a proposal of exercises to improve the pronunciation of English in specialties like General Integral Medicine, General Integral Stomatology and Collaboration, One of the main problems at present from the learners is that they are on first semester, since the pronunciation constitutes a fundamental element in the communicative competition achieving more efficient and productive form in the English language knowledge. There were used to collect data theorist and empiric methods. The results of applied instruments and the diagnostic carried to elaborate a proposal of exercises constitute an important didactic tool at the service of the professors of English; they show them to develop a better pronunciation in students.Keywords: Sounds, phonetics, pronunciation.
