En esta investigación se estudian las actitudes emprendedoras en los estudiantes cursantes de los últimos semestres de la carrera Gestión Empresarial de la UMET sede Machala. La investigación se desarrolló a nivel descriptivo con un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal y el tipo de investigación empleado fue de campo. La población y muestra estuvo conformada por 159 estudiantes cursantes de los últimos semestres. La técnica utilizada para recolectar los datos fue la encuesta. En relación a la actitud emprendedora, el mayor porcentaje lo obtuvo la categoría alta actitud emprendedora (82%). De los factores que componen la actitud emprendedora, el factor que obtuvo el mayor promedio fue la necesidad de logro (5,03). Predomina el componente conductual (4,74) en la actitud emprendedora. En las edades 18 a 22 años se ubican las mayores actitudes emprendedoras (8%), mientras que el sexo femenino (84%) y los estudiantes con experiencia laboral (86%) obtuvieron el mayor porcentaje en la categoría alta actitud emprendedora. Se concluye que los estudiantes presentan elevadas actitudes hacia en emprendimiento.Palabras clave: Actitud emprendedora, emprendimiento, estudiante universitario. ABSTRACTThe entrepreneurial attitude is the personal disposition to act proactively generating innovative ideas and using the creativity to seize the opportunities and create new businesses. This research studies the entrepreneurial attitudes in the students of the last semesters of the Business Management career of the UMET headquarters Machala. The research was developed at a descriptive level with a non-experimental cross-sectional design and the type of research used was field. The population and sample was made up of 159 students from the last semesters. The technique used to collect the data was the survey. In relation to the entrepreneurial attitude, the highest percentage was obtained by the high entrepreneurship category (82%). Of the factors that make up the entrepreneurial attitude, the factor that obtained the highest average was the need for achievement (5.03). The behavioral component predominates (4, 74) in the entrepreneurial attitude. At the ages of 18 to 22 years, the highest entrepreneurial attitudes were found (8%), while female (84%) and students with work experience (86%) were the highest in the high entrepreneurship category.
