Theoretical and methodological conception for the preparation of managers and officials in the prevention of drug use

Drug prevention in education requires comprehensive training for administrators and staff to implement effective actions. This research addresses a topic of particular significance in Cuban society, with a clear focus on the Cuban educational context. Its objective was to propose a theoretical and methodological conception for the preparation of educational administrators and staff for drug prevention in the province of Ciego de Ávila, which establishes an objective, approach, categories, principles, relationships, and methodological procedures. The research undertaken by the authors was based on the application of theoretical and empirical methods, governed by the general method of dialectical-materialist knowledge.
