Glosas en torno a algunas ideas martianas sobre la juventud

Resumen

Este artículo recoge un grupo de frases del Apóstol dedicadas a la juventud, las cuales se glosan para que sirvan de guía y enseñanza a las actuales generaciones. Vio siempre en la juventud la cantera de los futuros habitantes de América como una patria unida, de la América Nuestra. Eran ellos los que se debían poner la camisa al codo y hundir las manos en la masa, parafraseando al maestro. Eran quienes tenían que poseer un vínculo estrecho con la patria. Los que no debían imitar ejemplos foráneos sino adaptarlos a las nuevas circunstancias. Fustigó severamente a los jóvenes que se apartaban de la recta vía hacia un futuro luminoso para dedicarse a faenas ruines y mezquinas enriquecedoras. Debían nutrirse de conocimientos en todas las esferas para poder enfrentar de manera adecuada a la nueva realidad que se les presentaba en pos de un futuro luminoso y creativo donde todos tuvieran los mismos derechos.

ABSTRACT

This article collects a group of phrases of the Apostle dedicated to the youth, which are glossed so that they serve as guide and teaching to the current generations. He always saw in youth the quarry of the future inhabitants of America as a united homeland, of Our America. They were the ones who had to put their shirts on their elbows and put their hands in the dough, paraphrasing the master. They were the ones who had to have a close bond with the fatherland. Those who should not imitate foreign examples but adapt them to the new circumstances. He severely lashed out at the young people who were moving away from the straight path towards a bright future to devote themselves to mean and meanwhile enriching tasks. They had to be nourished by knowledge in all spheres in order to adequately face the new reality that was presented to them in pursuit of a bright and creative future where everyone had the same rights.
