Las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones: un reto al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje

Resumen

Actualmente no se puede pensar en la formación pertinente de las nuevas generaciones para su inserción plena en la sociedad del siglo XXI, sin la presencia de las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones (TIC); si bien, no son sustitutas de la labor educativa del profesor y ni del sistema escolar, bien empleadas es una poderosa herramienta didáctica. Su introducción en la práctica pedagógica y en particular en el desarrollo del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, provocan una nueva mirada a la manera de enseñar y de aprender; son útiles para la enseñanza y también para el permanente aprendizaje y formación del profesor. Por ello, la preparación dirigida al desarrollo de habilidades y capacidades necesarias que les permitan incorporar adecuadamente las TIC a su práctica pedagógica constituye un aspecto vital para garantizar el cumplimiento exitoso del encargo social de la escuela contemporánea. El presente artículo utiliza como métodos de estudio el análisis de documentos, la observación científica y el estadístico, tiene como finalidad lograr una aproximación a la importancia y necesidad del empleo de estas tecnologías en el campo de la educación.

ABSTRACT

At present, it is not possible to think about the pertinent formation of the new generations for their full insertion in the society of the XXI century, without the presence of the technologies of the information and the communication (TIC); Although they are not substitute for the educational work of the teacher and neither the school system, well employed is a powerful didactic tool. Its introduction in pedagogical practice and in particular in the development of the teaching-learning process, provoke a new look at the way of teaching and learning; Are useful for teaching and also for the permanent learning and training of the teacher. Therefore, the preparation aimed at the development of the necessary skills and capacities that allow them to properly incorporate ICTs into their pedagogical practice is a vital aspect to guarantee the successful fulfillment of the social order of the contemporary school. The present article uses, as study methods, document analysis, scientific and statistical observation, aiming to achieve an approximation to the importance and necessity of the use of these technologies in the field of education.
