Las TIC en la educación y difusión de un producto turístico en Ibarra

Resumen

La educación universitaria valora e incentiva el uso de las Tics como herramientas necesarias para la educación, promoción, educación del producto turístico en Ibarra. En el 2016 Ecuador fue reconocido por la World Travel Awards por su calidad turística, debido a la mega diversidad en sus cuatro regiones naturales ricas en flora y fauna concentrando la mayor biodiversidad por Km2 en el mundo, de igual forma sus atractivos históricos, gastronómicos, diversidad cultural y tradiciones, por lo que es imperativo darlo a conocer. El presente estudio busca utilizar la tecnología móvil y los códigos QR para la presentación de datos de un producto tradicional y su comercialización, se ha utilizado la metodología cualitativa para realizar la revisión documental del turismo y códigos QR, seguido de una investigación acción para determinar la demanda del producto y mejorar las estrategias de marketing; y una metodología cuantitativa para definir en qué forma los usuarios prefieren visualizar información; los resultados demuestran que la mayoría de consumidores ven atractivos a los medios digitales a través del celular, motivando al usuario a un aprendizaje más significativo del producto.

ABSTRACT

The university education values and encourages the use of the Tics as necessary tools for the education, promotion, education of the tourist product in Ibarra. In 2016 Ecuador was recognized by the World Travel Awards for its tourist quality, due to the mega diversity in its four natural regions rich in flora and fauna concentrating the greatest biodiversity per square kilometer in the world, as well as its historical and gastronomic attractions, cultural diversity and traditions, so it is imperative to make it known. The present study seeks to use mobile technology and QR codes for the presentation of data of a traditional product and its commercialization; the qualitative methodology has been used to carry out the documentary review of tourism and QR codes, followed by an action research to determine the demand of the product and to improve the marketing strategies; and a quantitative methodology to define in what way the users prefer to visualize information; the results demonstrate that the majority of consumers see attractions to the digital media through the cell phone, motivating the user to a more significant learning of the product.
