La violencia hacia la mujer desde la percepción de los estudiantes de UNIANDES Sede Ambato

Resumen

La violencia hacia las mujeres es un problema que afecta a todas las sociedades del mundo, y es una violación de los derechos humanos. En los campus universitarios, donde se reúnen estudiantes de diferentes orígenes y culturas es importante fomentar una cultura de no violencia y respeto hacia las mujeres. Como objetivo se plantea diagnosticar el conocimiento por parte de los estudiantes de UNIANDES, Sede Ambato, acerca de este fenómeno y sus formas de manifestación y proponer acciones para mitigar o erradicar la presencia de actos de este tipo en el campus universitario. Se concluye que existe conocimiento del tema no obstante no predomina un dominio de las regulaciones legales relacionadas con este tipo de delito. La gran mayoría de los encuestados considera que se debe dar mejor difusión sobre las rutas de actuación en casos de violencia de género. Se plantearon acciones encaminadas a mitigar la ocurrencia de hechos de violencia mediante la sensibilización y educación de los estudiantes, divulgación de las políticas institucionales y participación en las comunidades. La prevención de la violencia contra las mujeres en el campus requiere de un enfoque holístico y una colaboración efectiva entre la institución, los estudiantes y la comunidad.

 ABSTRACT

The violence toward the women is a problem that affects all the societies of the world, and it is a violation of human rights. In them campus university, where students of different origins and cultures meet you are important to foment a culture of nonviolence and respect toward the women. As objective proposes to diagnose the knowledge for part of the students of UNI-ANDES itself, Sede Ambato, about this phenomenon and his forms of manifestation and to set oneself actions to mitigate or to eradicate the presence of suchlike acts at the university campus. It is concluded that knowledge of the theme exists nevertheless does not predominate a command of the legal regulations related with this type of crime. You consider the respondents' great majority that you must give oneself better diffusion on the routes of acting in cases of violence of kind. Actions came into question led to mitigate the funny remark of facts of intervening violence sensitization and the students' education, divulgation of the institutional policies and participation in the communities. The prevention of the violence against the women at the campus calls for a holistic focus and an effective collaboration between the institution, the students, and the community.
