Aspectos sociopsicológicos del medio laboral asociados a la autoestima de personas que viven con VIH

Resumen

La presente investigación consiste en un estudio  cualicuantitativo, no experimental, que comienza siendo descriptivo y continúa siendo correlacional, describiendo y relacionando las variables: autoestima, apoyo social y  conocimiento que poseen los directivos y trabajadores sobre el Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Humana. Persiguiendo como objetivo determinar la posible asociación entre los aspectos sociopsicológicos del medio laboral con la autoestima de las personas que viven con el virus. Para la realización del mismo se emplean métodos del nivel teórico, empírico y estadístico. La selección de la muestra se hace coincidir con el universo (todas las personas de Rodas que viven con el Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Humana, que se encuentran laborando)
por ser este uno de los municipios que más casos aporta en la provincia de Cienfuegos. Se emplean diferentes técnicas para la recogida de datos como son: entrevista en profundidad, semiestructurada, observación participante, cuestionario de apoyo social e inventario de autoestima de Coopersmith. Los resultados se muestran en tablas y figuras, así como se hace un análisis porcentual y se realiza la valoración estadística mediante la correlación de Spearman.

ABSTRACT
The current research consists of a qualitative-quantitative, non-experimental study that begins being descriptive and continuous being correlacional, describing and relating the variables: self-esteem, social support and knowledge the executives and co-workers have about Human Immunodeficiencys´virus. The object of study is the working environment of the people living with Human Immunodeficiencys´virus. Theoretical, empiric and statistics research methods were applied. The selection of the sample corresponds with the universe (every worker in Rodas living with the virus, since this is one of municipalities where there are more people living with Human Immunodeficiencys´virus in Cienfuegos province). Different techniques for data gathering are used, such as: semi-structured interview, participating observation, social questionnaire and Coppersmith’s self-esteem inventory. The results are showed in tables and figures, and a percentage analysis is developed along with a statistic evaluation though the Spearman correlation.
