Perspectiva económica de la educación, el aprendizaje y la tecnología en la organización

Resumen

Las diferencias mundiales en ingresos han crecido significativamente desde 1950, tal como lo sugieren la literatura y los datos disponibles. Según algunos marcos teóricos, la educación, el aprendizaje y la difusión y adaptación tecnológica constituyen un proceso que permite mejorar las perspectivas de las organizaciones y de las economías, y entender tanto por qué unas organizaciones son más competitivas, como también por qué unos países crecen más rápido. El propósito de este trabajo consiste en analizar algunos enfoques que han abordado el papel que juega la educación, el aprendizaje y la difusión tecnológica dentro de la organización, en la generación de externalidades positivas y rendimientos a escala que inducen mejoras en las perspectivas económicas de toda la economía, en relación a su competitividad, productividad, crecimiento e ingreso per cápita. La metodología de investigación es cualitativa, se recurrió a una revisión de carácter documental bibliográfica, para discutir la contribución de diversos autores. La principal conclusión de este trabajo es que una política conjunta del Estado y del sector privado debe estar dirigida a fortalecer la acumulación de capital humano por medio de la educación y el aprendizaje en la práctica y la difusión tecnológica como medida para promover perspectivas económicas favorables, dado que en este proceso prevalece un desbordamiento en el entorno que aumenta la rentabilidad social.

ABSTRACT

International differences in growth and per capita income have deepened considerably since at least the second half of the twentieth century, as suggested by the literature and available data. According to some relevant theoretical frameworks, education, learning and technological adaptation and diffusion constitute the same process that activates specific mechanisms through which the development of organizations and economies takes off. Additionally is necessary to understand why some firms are more competitive than others, as well as why some countries grow more than others. The purpose of this work is to analyze, from the perspective of the literature review. Different approaches that have addressed the role played by education, the learning process or organizational learning and the technological diffusion within the organization. As a result, the generation of positive externalities and returns to scale induce improvements in the economic outlook of the rest of the company and the countries. Specifically in competitiveness, productivity, growth and per capita income. For this, this work is based on a methodology of qualitative research, bibliographic documentary, and makes a review of the available theoretical literature that gives an account of how the process works. Finally, this work analyzes how education works when is promoted within the organization and ends up generating improvements in the economic perspectives of the company and the rest of economic activities, helping to understand the differences that subsist in economic performance between countries. The main conclusion of this work is, the State jointly with policies focused on private sector should be aimed. Also, the strengthening in the accumulation of human capital through education and learning in practice and technological diffusion as a measure to promote economic prospects favorable to competitiveness and growth, given that this process prevails an overflow in the environment that increases social profitability.
