La inteligencia emocional y su contribución a la Educación Artística en la Universidad

Resumen

El objetivo de este trabajo es reflexionar sobre la formación integral de los estudiantes universitarios desde la articulación de la inteligencia emocional con la educación artística. El manejo inteligente de las emociones propias y ajenas podrá contribuir sensiblemente a que los estudiantes universitarios se sientan competentes, cumplan sus metas y se formen integralmente. En tal sentido la inteligencia emocional, definida como la capacidad para expresar y manejar sentimientos ha sido estudiada por psicólogos, pedagogosy otros especialistas, que han llegado a la conclusión que el camino hacia la excelencia educativa esta signado por el nivel de entrega y facilidad que tenga la comunidad pedagógica de canalizar sus emociones y lograr un equilibrio entre lo racional y lo emocional. Dirigir las emociones hacia un objetivo, ser optimistas y emprendedores, reconocer las emociones de los demás, saber interpretar las emociones ajenas a partir de los gestos o las expresiones del rostro y tono de voz permitirá ponerse en el lugar del otro, tener empatía y mejorar las relaciones humanas y en definitiva enfrentar los desafíos que depara el presente y el futuro.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this work is to reflect on the integral formation of the university students from the articulation of the emotional intelligence with the artistic education. The intelligent management of one's own and others' emotions can contribute significantly to university students feeling competent, fulfilling their goals and forming them integrally. In this sense, emotional intelligence, defined as the ability to express and manage feelings has been studied by psychologists, pedagogues and other specialists, who have concluded that the path to educational excellence is marked by the level of devotion and ease of the pedagogical community to channel their emotions and strike a balance between the rational and the emotional. Directing emotions towards a goal, being optimistic and enterprising, recognizing the emotions of others, knowing how to interpret the emotions of others from the gestures or the expressions of the face and tone of voice will allow to put in the place of the other, to have empathy and to improve Human relations and ultimately face the challenges of the present and the future.
