La Educación Ambiental en la institución universitaria. Implicaciones para el proceso docente educativo

Resumen

Este artículo pretende realizar un acercamiento a un tema de vital importancia para el futuro de la Humanidad. Se particulariza en la responsabilidad que deben asumir los docentes durante su ejercicio en la enseñanza universitaria toda vez que en su creatividad e intelecto se encuentra la posibilidad de trasmitir valores hacia un comprometimiento con el futuro del medio ambiente. El objetivo principal de este trabajo está dirigido a asumir las implicaciones que tiene la Educación Ambiental durante el proceso docente-educativo en la enseñanza superior y con ello la revisión oportuna de los currículos docentes para que esta temática logre transversalizar los contenidos de las materias. Se analiza el papel de las tareas docentes para el logro de dicho objetivo. Se utiliza un estudio descriptivo, empleando métodos teóricos como el histórico lógico y el analítico sintético y del nivel empírico el análisis de documentos.

ABSTRACT

This article aims to approach an issue of vital importance for the future of humanity. It is particularized in the responsibility that teachers must assume during their exercise in university teaching since their creativity and intellect is the possibility of transmitting values towards a commitment to the future of the environment. The main objective of this work is aimed at assuming the implications that Environmental Education has during the teaching-educational process in higher education and with it the timely revision of the teaching curricula so that, this subject manages to mainstream the contents of the subjects. The role of the teaching tasks for the achievement of this objective is analyzed. A descriptive study is used, using theoretical methods such as the logical historical and the synthetic analytical and from the empirical level the analysis of documents.
