La neuropsicología como referente necesaria para comprender el comportamiento humano

Abstract

El desarrollo de la neuropsicología en los últimos años ha permitido develar la base biológica del comportamiento; sobre todo, al develar las sinergias que subyacen en la relación entre el cerebro y los procesos cognoscitivos y emociones y, al mismo tiempo, se amplía la comprensión de cómo estas influyen en las interacciones que el ser humano establece en el mundo social. El acercamiento a este análisis, desde el planteamiento de algunos autores justifica el propósito de identificar las estructuras y sistemas que deben tomarse como referentes necesarios comprender el comportamiento humano.

ABSTRACT

The development of neuropsychology in recent years has revealed the biological basis of behavior. Above all, by unveiling the synergies that underlie the relationship among the brain, cognitive processes and emotions and, at the same time, the understanding of how these influence the interactions that human beings establish in the social world is broadened. The objective of this analysis, from the approach of some authors, justifies the purpose of identifying the structures and systems that should be taken as a necessary reference to understand human behavior.
