La implicación del investigador en las ciencias sociales y el campo educativo

Abstract

En este ensayo, se realiza una revisión y análisis de diversos elementos en torno a las implicaciones del investigador en el campo de las ciencias sociales, con énfasis especial en el campo de las ciencias de la educación. Entre estos elementos se consideraron las características de la estrecha relación entre el objeto de estudio y el sujeto (investigador), así como la relevancia de la tríada investigador-teoría-dato para la construcción de nueva teoría durante el abordaje del problema de investigación, como propósito fundamental de la labor investigativa del científico social. Finalmente, se revisan las influencias de estas consideraciones en el ámbito educativo, considerando las implicaciones que tienen en los enfoques metodológicos propios de la investigación educativa.

ABSTRACT

In this essay, a review and analysis of various elements is made around the implications of the researcher in the field of social sciences, with special emphasis in the field of educational sciences. Among these elements were considered the characteristics of the close relationship between the object of study and the subject (researcher), as well as the relevance of the research-theory-data triad for the construction of new theory during the approach of the research problem, such as fundamental purpose of the research work of the social scientist. Finally, the influences of these considerations in the educational field are reviewed, considering the implications that they have in the methodological focuses of educational research.
