La contaminación sonora en la armonía medioambiental y social de Cumanayagua

Abstract

El trabajo se realizó por la necesidad de conocer los efectos que produce la contaminación sonora en la salud humana. La exploración de la realidad en tres instituciones del entorno urbano del municipio de Cumanayagua, demostró que la contaminación sonora está afectando la vida psicosocial y por tanto se hace necesario implementar acciones que mitiguen ese efecto. Utilizando un sonómetro, se determinó los niveles de ruido en cada una de las instituciones muestreadas, las que, por causas externas, estaban por encima del nivel permisible.

ABSTRACT

The work was carried out for the necessity of knowing the effects that it produces the sound contamination in the human health. The exploration of the reality in three institutions of the urban environment of the municipality of Cumanayagua, demonstrated that the sound contamination is affecting psico-social life and therefore it becomes necessary to implement actions that mitigate that effect. Using a sound meter, it was determined the levels of noise in each one of the institutions questioned, those that, for external causes, were above the permissible level.
