Las economías creativas como fuente de desarrollo trinitario

Abstract

El texto “Las Economías creativas como fuente de desarrollo trinitario” tiene el objetivo de conceptualizar los términos de industrias creativas o industrias culturales y creativas y analizar la importancia de las artesanías y los reconocimientos obtenidos para el desarrollo de la ciudad de Trinidad. Para ello se realiza una revisión de bibliografía especializada, de Cuba y el mundo sobre la temática y se aplica a un estudio de campo de las artesanías en la ciudad. Este estudio demuestra la importancia socieconómica de la industria creativa artesanal y su larga historia. Lo que la hace merecedora de los reconocimientos como Ciudad Artesanal del Mundo y Ciudad Creativa en Artesanía y Artes Populares de la UNESCO. Lo que impulsa la creación de proyectos de industrias creativas que coloquen la cultura y las economías creativas en el centro del desarrollo local. Además, la realización de análisis similares en el resto de las ciudades patrimoniales.

 ABSTRACT

The text "Creative Economies as a source of Trinidadian development" has the objective of conceptualizing the terms of creative industries or cultural and creative industries and analyzing the importance of handicrafts and the recognitions obtained for the development of the city of Trinidad. For this purpose, a review of specialized bibliography of Cuba and the world on the subject is carried out and applied to a field study of handicrafts in the city. This study demonstrates the socioeconomic importance of the creative handicraft industry and its long history. What makes it worthy of recognition as Craft City of the World and Creative City in Crafts and Popular Arts of UNESCO. This encourages the creation of creative industry projects that place culture and creative economies at the center of our local development. In addition, similar analyses should be carried out in the rest of the heritage cities.
