Technological Innovations with Tutorial Videos for the Development of Musical Art
Abstract
The Conservatory is an institution of complementary studies specialized in developing musical art in the province of Los Ríos, where stagnation is perceived in the teaching-learning process. The objective of this research was to implement the use of technological innovations with tutorial videos, as a pedagogical, didactic tool, to develop the musical art of the students of the Ángel Efraín Suárez Carrera Conservatory. The study was applied with a pre experimental design that included two balanced groups: one experimental and the other control. The research approach was mixed, as well as descriptive and explanatory. The population consisted of 35 students, with an inclusion and exclusion criterion, and questionnaire surveys were used to collect data, which were subjected to the Cronbach's Alpha test to determine their degree of reliability. In the results stage, the surveys were validated and the hypothesis was verified using the Student's T method, using observed and expected frequencies. The results showed that the tutorial videos positively influenced the teaching-learning process of the Main Instrument - Piano subject, being accessible, easy to use and interactive. The students agreed to collaborate and express instrumental techniques in their own way, thus promoting the development of musical art. The proposal allows us to strengthen virtual academic activity, being a valuable tool to improve academic performance. It is recommended to implement the use of tutorial videos in all subjects.
