Description of the dignity value from the environmental dimension
Abstract
This article responds to the need to educate in values from the environmental dimension. That is why the research aims to: offer a detailed description of the value of dignity from the environmental dimension, aimed at stimulating virtues and strengths of character consistent with environmental conservation. Methods of the theoretical level were applied: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive and historical-logical, with the intention of systematizing information from the bibliography consulted and the experience of the authors. It is weighted on the importance that the stimulation of the evaluative activity of the subject acquires, based on the system of virtues (five) and character strengths (19), by assuming the education of value and dignity from a developmental connotation. This promotes a reflective and leading role that allows respect for oneself and the natural and social environment, with emphasis on the modes of action manifest in the conservation of the environment to contribute to the solution of environmental problems, from raising awareness of the need of his actions.
