The direction of methodological work in Basic Secondary Education. Historical background
Abstract
The objective of this study is to synthesize the background of the management system of the methodological work of cadres in Basic Secondary education. It assumes as periodization criteria the main changes in the Cuban educational system from 1510 to the present. Three stages are defined: (1510-1898) Theocratic and academic instruction of society. Then (1899-1958) Public education as an instrument of neocolonial domination and later (1959 – to the present) Guiding role of methodological work in the pedagogical scenario for the cultural preparation of the teacher. At the same time, it reflects the main regulatory documents that establish the preparation, improvement, monitoring and completion of the methodological work at the different management levels. The historical-logical method is applied with the pedagogical structuring of the methodological work in the school context and the intentionality of the activities with a methodological nature for the preparation of managers, which allows identifying the main characteristics and trends that prevail. during his career
