La excursión docente, una herramienta didáctica para la enseñanza-aprendizaje de las ciencias naturales

Abstract

Este artículo se propone divulgar parte de los resultados obtenidos en la etapa propedéutica de un estudio pedagógico desarrollado en la educación básica de la ciudad de Machala, sobre la excursión docente como forma de organización de proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de las Ciencias Naturales. La estrategia metodológica se sistematizó a través de los métodos: análisis documental, observación científica, análisis-síntesis, inductivo-deductivo y estadístico que permitieron llegar a las siguientes conclusiones: el adecuado empleo de esta forma de organización promueve la participación activa de los alumnos y contribuye a elevar la calidad de los resultados académicos; a pesar de estos beneficios aún se observan limitaciones en su aplicación entre los docentes, no se cumplen con los pasos metodológicos indicados, no se realiza una adecuada planificación, preparación y orientación lo que repercute en la calidad de la ejecución y presentación de los resultados incidiendo negativamente en el análisis crítico.

ABSTRACT

This article aims to disseminate part of the results obtained in the propaedeutic stage of a pedagogical study developed in the basic education of the city of Machala, on the teaching excursion as a way of organizing the teaching-learning process of the Natural Sciences. The methodological strategy was systematized through the methods: documentary analysis, scientific observation, analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive and statistical that allowed to reach the following conclusions: the adequate use of this form of organization promotes the active participation of students and it contributes to raising the quality of academic results; Despite these benefits, there are still limitations in its application among teachers, the methodological steps indicated are not met, adequate planning, preparation and orientation are not carried out, which affects the quality of the execution and presentation of the results. negatively in the critical analysis.
