Propuesta de estrategia pedagógica para la prevención del maltrato infantil desde la educación inicial

Abstract

El maltrato infantil constituye un problema social con consecuencias negativas para la niñez. Cuando este ocurre en el seno familiar, en la mayoría de los casos queda invisibilizado, lo que impide la actuación oportuna para su erradicación. La prevención del maltrato infantil familiar debe ser parte del trabajo educativo que se realiza en la escuela, por constituir las consecuencias negativas de estas conductas un obstáculo en la asimilación de los aprendizajes que necesitan estos escolares para su desarrollo. A tono con lo anterior, se propone una estrategia pedagógica que se caracteriza por ser humanista, flexible, contextualizada y participativa, dirigido a la prevención del maltrato infantil en las familias de la niñez que asiste a los Centros de Desarrollo Infantil (CDI). Se presenta como un proceso estructurado en cuatro etapas con acciones dirigidas a la preparación de los mediadores en la escuela y la familia para el desempeño de la función educativa en los contextos correspondientes, teniendo en cuenta la diversidad y con un enfoque de derechos.

ABSTRACT

Child abuse is a social problem with negative consequences for children. When this occurs in the family, in most cases it is invisible, which prevents timely action for its eradication. The prevention of family child maltreatment must be part of the educational work carried out in the school, since it constitutes the negative consequences of these behaviors, an obstacle in the assimilation of the learning that these students need for their development. In line with the above, a pedagogical strategy is proposed that is characterized by being humanistic, flexible, contextualized and participatory, aimed at the prevention of child abuse in the families of children who attend Child Development Centers (CDI). It is presented as a structured process in four stages with actions aimed at the preparation of mediators in the school and the family for the performance of the educational function in the corresponding contexts, taking into account diversity and with a focus on rights.
