Las TIC y la enseñanza de la epidemiología, diagnóstico y manejo clínico de la endometriosis

Resumen

La enseñanza en el ámbito universitario se encuentra marcada por la necesidad de ajustarse a los cambios vertiginosos que sufre el entorno. Hacer el proceso docente educativo más interesante, motivador y atractivo para los estudiantes, es una de las metas a conseguir. La integración del uso de las TIC a la enseñanza de la medicina puede realizarse en aras de facilitar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, el empleo de software, multimedia, imágenes, plataformas interactivas y laboratorios virtuales, pueden ser empleados como medios complementarios. Por lo antes analizado, se persigue como objetivo de la investigación conocer la percepción a cerca de la utilidad e importancia del uso de las TIC en la enseñanza de la endometriosis entre los estudiantes y docentes de la carrera de obstetricia de la Uniandes. Para ello se aplicaron técnicas e instrumentos como la encuesta, entrevista, revisión bibliográfica, método IADOV, Diagrama de Ishikawa y AHP de Saaty. Se obtuvo como resultado, que los estudiantes y profesores aprecian que el empleo de las TIC es útil e importante en el estudio de la endometriosis, fueron identificadas las acciones para lograrlo y las mismas se jerarquizaron para otorgar un orden de prioridad.

ABSTRACT

Teaching at the university level is marked by the need to adjust to the vertiginous changes that the environment is undergoing. Making the educational teaching process more interesting, motivating and attractive for students is one of the goals to be achieved. The integration of the use of ICT to the teaching of medicine, can be done in order to facilitate the teaching and learning process, the use of software, multimedia, images, interactive platforms and virtual laboratories, can be used as complementary means. Due to the aforementioned, the objective of the research is to know the perception about the usefulness and importance of the use of ICT in the teaching of endometriosis among the students of the Uniandes obstetrics career. For this, techniques and instruments such as the survey, the interview, the bibliographic review, the IADOV method, the Ishikawa Diagram and the Saaty AHP were applied. It was obtained as a result that students and teachers appreciate that the use of ICT is useful and important in the study of endometriosis, the actions to achieve it were identified and they were ranked to give an order of priority.
