The role of the educational manager in strengthening corporate identity
Abstract
In the field of education, it is essential to understand the role of the educational manager in the development of an institution's identity. Therefore, this research aims to determine the influence of the educational manager's role in strengthening the corporate identity of an educational institution. This study employed a quantitative, non-experimental methodological design aimed at measuring educational management as the independent variable and corporate identity as the dependent variable, using a correlational design to analyze the relationship between these variables. The sample included 348 individuals randomly selected from among teachers, students, and parents. Four dimensions—planning, organization, direction, and control—were analyzed in relation to the manager's role and its influence on the institution's identity. The correlations between the variables indicate that the functions of the educational manager and the corporate identity are closely linked to each other. The survey results reflect a moderately low perception of the effectiveness of the strategies and processes applied by the educational manager to improve the corporate identity, as they are less targeted and fulfilled, diminishing the visibility of the institution's identity in front of the educational community. Therefore, it is essential to design practical and coherent recommendations aligned with the educational manager's functions, enabling effective planning, organization, direction, and control of activities, projects, and strategies that comprehensively guide the achievement of objectives to enhance the institutional identity.
