Importancia de la enseñanza de la Historia y Apreciación de las Artes en la Educación Superior

Abstract

En la exposición se realiza un análisis sobre la importancia de la enseñanza de la Historia y Apreciación de las Artes en la Educación Superior. El discurso se centra en las posibilidades de esta disciplina para la adquisición de habilidades profesionales, cultura artística y humanística, crítica y apreciativa con respecto al arte y las creaciones humanas. Se expone, además, con elevada síntesis, juicios de otros autores de sobrada experiencia en el tema con la finalidad de apoyar los criterios vertidos y se valoran los análisis expuestos con el propósito de mostrar al lector un consenso crítico. Se precisan conceptos como: historia de las artes, apreciación artística, cultura artística y educación por el arte, entre otros.

ABSTRACT

In the exhibition an analysis is made on the importance of the teaching of History and Appreciation of the Arts in Higher Education. The work focuses on the possibilities of this discipline for the acquisition of professional skills, artistic and humanistic culture, critical and appreciative with respect to art and human creations. It is also exposed, with a high synthesis, judgments of other authors with extensive experience in the subject to support the criteria and evaluate the exposed analyzes in order to show the reader a critical consensus. They require concepts such as: history of the arts, artistic appreciation, artistic culture and education for art, among others.
