Programa educativo para docentes de educación secundaria sobre plantas nutricionales andinas

Abstract

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo elaborar un plan educativo dirigido a docentes de educación secundaria, para la enseñanza de saberes sobre plantas nutricionales andinas o ancestrales. Para llevar a cabo el presente estudio se seleccionó como población de estudio a los docentes de enseñanza secundaria en 4 centros de educación secundaria en Guayaquil. Se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta para realizar un diagnóstico a los docentes muestreados y determinar las principales deficiencias en materia del tema tratado. Como parte del diagnóstico efectuado, se determinó que existen algunas deficiencias respecto a la enseñanza del valor nutricional y uso de plantas de origen andino como parte fundamental de la alimentación de los estudiantes. Se observó la existencia de ciertas dificultades en cuanto al traspaso de este conocimiento hacia los estudiantes, y algunos casos, ni siquiera existía un conocimiento básico de cuáles son estas plantas. Mediante la utilización del método de decisión multicrterios TOPSIS se propuso un plan educativo para la formación de habilidades en los docentes sobre el tema analizado, así como para la formación de sus estudiantes de manera didáctica y eficiente.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this project is to develop an educational plan aimed at secondary school teachers, for the teaching of knowledge about Andean or ancestral nutritional plants. To conduct this study, secondary school teachers in four secondary schools in Guayaquil were selected as the study population. The survey technique was used to make a diagnosis of the sampled teachers and determine the main deficiencies in the subject matter. As part of the diagnosis made, it was determined that there are some deficiencies regarding the teaching of the nutritional value and use of plants of Andean origin as a fundamental part of the students' diet. The existence of certain difficulties regarding the transfer of this knowledge to the students was observed, and in some cases, there was not even a basic knowledge of what these plants are. Through the use of the TOPSIS multi-criteria decision method, an educational plan was proposed for the training of skills in teachers on the subject analyzed, as well as for the training of their students in a didactic and efficient manner.
