El trabajo social. Sus orígenes
Abstract
Se analiza el trabajo social, desde sus orígenes en el siglo XIX en EE.UU, y cómo se profesionalizó a principios del siglo XX, con el surgimiento de las escuelas de trabajo social. En 1905 se inició el trabajo médico social. Los Departamentos de Educación, Salud y la Cruz Roja Americana constituyeron los pioneros de la profesión. La década del 1920, marcó el comienzo del trabajo social profesional. En su vertiente profesional, el trabajo social se plantea como objetivo contribuir al desarrollo e incremento del bienestar social y la calidad de vida.

ABSTRACT
At work the social work was analyzed, from your origins in the XIXth century in EE.UU, and as it was professionalized at the beginning of the XXth century, with the surging of the schools of social work. In 1905 the medical social work started up. Education departments, Cheers and the pioneers of the profession constituted the American Red Cross themselves. The decade of the 1920, dialed the beginning of the social professional work. In your professional spring, the social work comes into question like objective to contribute to development and I increase in social welfare and the quality of life.
