Identificación de altas habilidades con estudiantes del nivel universitario en México.
Abstract
En el artículo se reporta un estudio sobre altas habilidades con estudiantes de Licenciatura en Psicología Educativa de la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, Ciudad de México. Con un diseño no experimental transversal explicativo, la muestra se constituyó con 181 estudiantes. El instrumento escala Likert resulto altamente confiable, discrimina las respuestas entre estudiantes con altas habilidades ubicados por debajo y por arriba de la media. Se encontraron diferencias significativas en las escalas: habilidades generales, motivación, creatividad y compromiso con la tarea, favorables al grupo de altas habilidades ubicados por arriba de la media. Se sugiere realizar estudios comparados con otros países, así como considerar cambios curriculares e instruccionales para promover las altas habilidades.

ABSTRACT
A study on high skills with undergraduate students in Educational Psychology from the National Pedagogical University, Mexico City, is reported. With an explanatory cross-sectional non-experimental design, the sample consisted of 181 students. The Likert scale instrument turned out to be highly reliable, it discriminates the responses between students with high abilities located below and above the average. Significant differences were found in the scales: general abilities, motivation, creativity and commitment to the task, favorable to the group of high abilities located above the average. It is suggested to carry out comparative studies with other countries, as well as to consider curricular and instructional changes to promote high skills.
