Scientific production as a standard for the distribution of resources

Abstract

Research in the Higher Education Institutions of Ecuador plays a fundamental role in the generation of knowledge and in the training of trained researchers in various disciplines. This article reviews the current panorama of research at the State Technical University of Quevedo in the last five years, highlighting recent contributions and exploring future perspectives in the field. The methods, results and applications of outstanding studies carried out by teachers from the State Technical University of Quevedo are analyzed. It can be determined that the research in recent years; This is from 2018-2022, it has grown considerably, and this is due to the internal policies proposed by the university authorities to achieve the stated objectives, reflecting the critical importance of research as a substantive function in the expansion of scientific and technological knowledge. The contributions of students and faculty not only drive innovation in their respective fields, but also pave the way for future research and advancements.
