Design of an active methodology for the subject program Professional ethics of the teacher
Abstract
The varied and changing processes in contemporary societies represent a challenge for education. This, in response, proposes new ways of doing things. Active methodologies and digital technologies enhance students' meaningful learning by offering them a leading role in the educational process and allowing them to build their own knowledge, skills, competencies and ethical values, necessary for their professional performance, from scientific, ethical and of commitment to society. Based on a mixed approach of descriptive scope and non-experimental design, this research aims to develop an active methodology for the subject program: Professional Ethics of Teachers. The three groups of experts formed for the theoretical validation of the methodology, experts in content, instructional design and active teaching methods, consider the structure and contents of the proposed methodology to be valid for the current challenges facing education, and value them. as a strong support for the teaching-learning process of students, in the effort to promote their cognitive and investigative skills, logical reasoning and creative critical thinking, very convenient for the subject: Professional Ethics of Teachers.
