Las estadísticas como herramienta para el estudio de parámetros medioambientales y ecológicos

Abstract

Las estadísticas tienen aplicación práctica en diferentes ramas del saber, por lo que es considerada una herramienta útil para el análisis e interpretación de datos en el área investigativa. El objetivo de este estudio es describir los diferentes usos de la estadística para interpretar los fenómenos medioambientales y ecológicos. El escenario son los programas de estudios asociados a las carreras universitarias. Los resultados fundamentales están asociados al valor que tienen los estadísticos matemáticos en función del análisis de problemas asociados al medio ambiente y a la ecología, disciplina asociada a los métodos cuantitativos de investigación. Se concluyeque el uso de los estadísticos referentes a la disciplina de estadística, descriptiva e inferencial, resulta de gran valor en función de interpretar fenómenos relacionados al medio ambiente y la ecología.

ABSTRACT

The statistics have practical application in different branches of knowledge, reason why it is considered a tool for the analysis and interpretation of data associated with these sciences. The objective of this study is to describe the different uses of statistics to interpret environmental and ecological phenomena. The scenario is the PYMES of the Province of El Oro. The fundamental theoretical methods were the logical historical and the analytical synthetic from the empirical analysis of documents. The relevant results are related to the value of mathematical statistics in the analysis of problems associated with the environment and ecology. It can be concluded that the use of statistics relating to descriptive and inferential statistics has been described in terms of interpreting phenomena related to the environment and ecology.
