Disfunciones acomodativas en estudiantes no estrábicos de la Unidad Educativa Arturo Borja, Orellana, Ecuador
Abstract
En el artículo se muestran los resultados de un estudio observacional, descriptivo y correlacional realizado en la “Unidad Educativa Arturo Borja” de la provincia de Orellana, de febrero a diciembre de 2018, con el objetivo de determinar las disfunciones acomodativas en estudiantes no estrábicos de 13 a 18 años, a partir de la recolección de información ensus historias clínicas optométricas. Los principales resultados corroboran el exceso acomodativo como la disfunción más significativa; donde existe relación entre las disfunciones acomodativas y las ametropías, exceptuando la inflexibilidad que se presenta en la emetropía.

ABSTRACT
The article shows the results of an observational, descriptive and correlational study carried out in the "Arturo Borja Educational Unit" of the province of Orellana, from February to December 2018, with the objective of determining accommodative dysfunctions in non-strabismic students of 13 to 18 years, from the collection of information in their optometric medical records. The main results corroborate the accommodative excess as the most significant dysfunction; where there is a relationship between accommodative dysfunctions and ametropia, except for the inflexibility that occurs in emmetropia.Keywords:
