La nueva canción: su origen, evolución e impacto en la sociedad

Resumen

En el presente artículo se realiza un estudio del origen, evolución e impacto de la Nueva Canción en la sociedad. Se abordan los principales precursores de estas canciones en el mundo a finales del siglo XIX, así como su evolución en diferentes países de Europa y Latinoamérica. Se valora el impacto de la Nueva Canción como portadora de los valores que proclama la izquierda latinoamericana, la actitud frente a la cultura y en asuntos de índole religiosos. Se analiza el impacto de la Nueva Canción en Cuba como fenómeno resultante de las posiciones nacionalistas y revolucionarias del pueblo cubano y el enfrentamiento a los continuos ataques del imperio norteamericano en aras de defender las posiciones de la Revolución. Se exponen argumentos sobre la importancia de la Nueva Canción y su impacto en la sociedad como reclamo por la justicia social y el enfrentamiento a fenómenos que atañan no solo a un país sino a la comunidad internacional.

ABSTRACT

The present article makes an study about the origin, evolution and impact about the new song in the society. Principal forerunners abord this songs in the world at the end of the XIX century, such as it´ s evolution in the different countries like Europe and Latin America. The impact of the new song portraits values that proclaims the left latinoamerican, it’s actitude fore head the culture in religious themes. The impact of the new song is analized in Cuba as a phenomenon from nacionalist and revolutionaries positions and the confrontation of different attacks of the Norteamerican empire in order to defend the Revolution positions. Finally, in this article some arguments are exposed about the importance of the new song and it’s impact in the society as a claim for social justice an the confrontation to a phenomenon that worry not only to a country but the international community.
