Experimentos matemáticos para enseñar las magnitudes en el primer ciclo de la Educación Primaria

Resumen

La sociedad actual demanda de hombres y mujeres capaces de asumir las constantes transformaciones que ocurren a diario en cada contexto social. Ante esta realidad, los sistemas educativos exigen el logro de un proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje que promueva la participación de los escolares durante su formación integral desde edades tempranas. En este sentido, la asignatura Matemática plantea como lineamientos metodológicos de interés el logro de la educación integral aprovechando las potencialidades de los contenidos, el tratamiento de estos a partir de situaciones o problemáticas de la vida práctica, la reflexión y la comprensión de sus significados. Al respecto, en este artículo se presenta la utilización de experimentos matemáticos sencillos como una alternativa didáctica que puede favorecer el aprendizaje de las magnitudes y se ofrecen ejemplos posibles a utilizar en el primer ciclo de la Educación Primaria.

ABSTRACT

The society current demand of men and women able to assume the constant transformations that happen to newspaper in each social context. In the face of this reality, the educational systems demand the achievement of a teaching-learning process that promotes the participation of the scholars during their integral formation from early ages. In this sense, the Mathematical subject outlines as methodological limits of interest the achievement of the integral education taking advantage of the potentialities of the contents, the treatment of these starting from situations or problematic of the practical life, the reflection and understanding of its meanings. In this respect, in this article the use of simple mathematical experiments is presenting as a didactic alternative that can to improve the learning of the magnitudes and they offer examples possible to use in the first cycle of the Primary Education.
