La educación artística como objeto de estudio: una mirada desde la formación de formadores

Resumen

La Educación Artística sigue siendo un tema de profundo debate en las diferentes esferas educativas, en busca de lograr un lugar de reconocimiento en el campo educativo, dada la subvaloración que tiene con respecto a otras áreas de conocimiento. Esta investigación de corte cualitativo y cuantitativo, cuyo estudio es tipo ex post facto con alcance descriptivo indaga en docentes, estudiantes y en los documentos de autoevaluación y evaluación con fines de acreditación de un programa de Licenciatura de Educación Artística en torno a los fundamentos epistemológicos y metodológicos. Como parte de los resultados, el estudio permite reconocer la comunicación, el lenguaje y el pensamiento artístico y la Investigación + Creación como ejes articuladores que contribuyan al debate para ubicar a la misma Educación Artística como objeto de estudio, de modo que permita fortalecer la formación de formadores y la producción de conocimiento.

ABSTRACT

Art Education continues to be a topic of deep debate in different educational spheres, in search of achieving a place of recognition in the educational field, given the undervaluation it has with respect to other areas of knowledge. This qualitative and quantitative research, which is an ex post facto study with descriptive scope, investigates the epistemological and methodological foundations in teachers, students and in the documents of self-evaluation and evaluation for accreditation purposes of a Bachelor's degree program in Art Education. As part of the results, the study allows recognizing communication, language and artistic thought and Research + Creation as articulating axes that contribute to the debate to place Art Education itself as an object of study, in order to strengthen the training of trainers and the production of knowledge, from a perspective of language and artistic thought.
