La preparación a la familia de niños con trastornos por déficit de atención e hiperactividad

Resumen

La investigación aborda una problemática referida al proceso de orientación a familias de niños con Trastornos por Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad (TDAH). Mediante un diagnóstico inicial se determinaron las necesidades y potencialidades de la muestra, asumiéndose el criterio del enfoque integral de los métodos y técnicas de la investigación científica, empleando métodos del nivel teórico como: analítico- sintético, inductivo- deductivo, histórico-lógico, modelación, y el sistémico-estructural, del nivel empírico: la observación, la entrevista, la escala para evaluar el funcionamiento familiar (FF-SIL), la revisión de documentos y se utilizó el método de criterio de especialistas, así como la aplicación del cálculo porcentual para describir los resultados. Se propone una estrategia de preparación a la familia para el manejo educativo de niños con (TDAH), la cual se estructuró en tres etapas, concretadas en la ejecución de diversas acciones específicas, intencionales y consecuentes, diseñadas en ciclos de talleres y audiovisuales propiciando la reflexión, la interpretación y la sistematización vinculando la teoría y la práctica. Las consultas a especialistas y los talleres de socialización acreditaron la calidad y pertinencia de la propuesta.

ABSTRACT

The investigation addresses a problematic related to the process of orientation to families of children with déficit in attention an hyperactivity disorders(TDAH). Through an initial diagnosis the needs and potentialities of the sample were determined, assuming the criterion of the integral approach of the methods and techniques of scientific research,using methods of the theoretical level such as :analytical-synthetic, inductive- deductive, historical- logical, modeling and the structural systemic, of the empirical level: observation, interview, scale to evaluate family functioning(FF-SIL), document review and the method of consulting specialists, as well as, the application of the percentage calculation to describe the results. A family preparation strategy for the educational management of children with (TDAH) is proposed, which was structured in three stages, concretized in the execution of various specific actions,intentional and consequent, designed in cycles of workshops and audiovisuals promoting reflection, interpretation and systematization linking theory and practice. Consulting specialists and socialization workshops confirmed the quality and relevance of the proposal.
