El currículo en el perfeccionamiento de la carrera de Licenciatura en Enfermería en la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo

Abstract

En el artículo se analiza el currículo de la Licenciatura en Enfermería de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo (UTEQ). La muestra seleccionada para la investigación es parte de los estudiantes del primer curso de la carrera, lo que constituyó el criterio fundamental de inclusión. Corresponde a 40 estudiantes, hombres y mujeres, entre 19 y 27 años de edad, de la carrera de Enfermería, de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo (UTEQ), Ecuador. Los horizontes epistemológicos se orientan hacia la estrecha relación entre la teoría, la práctica y la investigación, tríada que caracteriza la relación interdisciplinaria desde estos tres ejes sustantivos del proceso universitario, integrando conocimientos, habilidades y valores. En la profesión estos horizontes integran los aportes de la ciencia, conocimientos, habilidades y valores y la formación investigativa de los estudiantes de una manera sistemática hasta la culminación de su proceso de titulación.

ABSTRACT

In the article, it is analyzed the curriculum of the Nursing Degree of the State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ). The sample selected for the research is part of the students of the first course of the career, which constituted the fundamental criterion of inclusion. Corresponds to 40 students, men and women, between 19 and 27 years of age, of the Nursing career, of the State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ), Ecuador. The epistemological horizons are oriented towards the close relationship among theory, practice and research, a triad that characterizes the interdisciplinary relationship from these three substantive axes of the university process, integrating knowledge, skills and values. In the profession, these horizons integrate the contributions of science, knowledge, skills and values and the research training of students in a systematic way until the culmination of their graduate process.
