Análisis bibliométrico como herramienta para el seguimiento de la producción científica en Psicooncología Pediátrica

Abstract

El objetivo del artículo es identificar el estado actual de la producción científica entorno a la psicooncología pediátrica en las bases de datos Scopus, Scielo, Dialnet y Redalyc en los últimos 7 años. Para tal fin, se desarrolló un estudio de tipo bibliométrico, descriptivo e introspectivo, con una muestra de 42 artículos publicados en los últimos 7 años en revistas indexadas. Se identificó que el mayor porcentaje de estudios desarrollados en los últimos años es de tipo cualitativo-descriptivo, con muestras mayoritariamente de familiares de pacientes, seguido de pacientes oncológico-pediátricos; el país en el cual se publica más sobre el tema es Brasil. Se requiere de una mayor atención al tema de investigación en problemáticas relacionadas con aspectos psicológicos de los pacientes, familiares y personal sanitario en psicooncología pediátrica, dado el escaso número de investigaciones encontradas al respecto en la revisión realizada.

ABSTRACT

The objective of the article is to identify the current state of scientific production around pediatric psycho-oncology in the Scopus, Scielo, Dialnet and Redalyc databases in the last 7 years. For this purpose, a bibliometric, descriptive and introspective study was developed, with a sample of 42 articles published in the last 7 years in indexed journals. It was identified that the highest percentage of studies developed in recent years is qualitative-descriptive, with samples mainly from relatives of patients, followed by oncological-pediatric patients; the country in which the most on the subject is published is Brazil. Greater attention to the topic of research on problems related to psychological aspects of patients, family members and health personnel in pediatric psycho-oncology is required, given the limited number of investigations found in this regard in the review carried out.
