E-learning methodology for professional training on interdisciplinary projects for technical high school teachers
Abstract
The use of interactive platforms is an alternative in order to develop interdisciplinary projects in technical areas. eLearning from the Moodle “thousand classrooms” platform provides the potential for the development of constructivist activities. In the institution under study it is seen that teachers have few skills for the introduction of these techniques and learning resources. The research has an applied, experimental and correlational quantitative approach. Its development goes through: review of the theoretical framework with theoretical methods; diagnosis of the current situation through empirical methods such as observation, two interviews (teachers and principal) and two surveys (students and teachers); propose a methodological training strategy for teachers and verify the results through the evaluations received by those trained, a survey about the quality of the strategy and the evaluation of the course according to the Net Promoter Index. A training program is proposed aimed at developing skills in the use of the thousand classrooms platform, the eLearning methodology, and project-based learning for the execution of interdisciplinary projects. The skills acquired by the trained teachers and their satisfaction with the training results are demonstrated.
