Del lugar al desarrollo local
Abstract

ABSTRACT
Territorial mediation, in development, has undergone changes since the last quarter of the 20th century due to profound economic, social and political transformations. Scientific production, to interpret the changes that are still occurring, has focused on elements such as globalization and post-Fordism. The result, although with different nuances, points to the valorization of the territory as a key actor in the development processes. The point scale (the local, the place) is of particular interest to adjective the territory in terms of spatial identity. The place is recognized as a challenge for development, with its own personality, and allowing the use of resources from a proximity perspective. The present investigation intends to contribute elements to the debate on the meaning that the place has for local development. Keywords:
