El pensamiento integracionista latinoamericano en el equilibrio del mundo: Simón Bolívar y José Martí
Abstract
La América Latina cuenta con muchos hombres valiosos que han consagrado sus vidas a la causa de la independencia, ya sea luchando contra el dominio colonial español o contra todas las formas de dominio imperial, dígase en los últimos siglos el imperialismo norteamericano. Las raíces de estos sentimientos se encuentran en dos hombres de talla universal: Simón Bolívar y José Martí, que vivieron en los siglos XVIII y XIX respectivamente. La idea de crear una confederación latinoamericana estuvo vinculada en su origen con la lucha por la libertad e independencia de las antiguas colonias españolas en el siglo XIX. Simón Bolívar el prócer de la independencia de América del Sur planteó crearla para luchar juntos contra las amenazas comunes.

ABSTRACT
The Latin America has many worthy men who have devoted their lives to the cause of independence, either fighting against Spanish colonial rule and against all forms of imperial rule, says in the last century U.S. imperialism. The roots of these feelings two men are in universal size: Simón Bolívar and José Martí, who lived in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries respectively. The idea of creating a Latin American confederation was originally linked to the struggle for freedom and independence of the former Spanish colonies in the nineteenth century.
