La enseñanza de la literatura en la formación inicial universitaria

Abstract

La enseñanza de la Literatura en la formación inicial universitaria mantiene, salvo raras excepciones, un carácter preferentemente expositivo, sin embargo, la realidad impone el empleo de otras vías que faciliten el intercambio activo y participativo del estudiante. En un mundo donde son evidentes la globalización, el impacto de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, la administración del conocimiento y la necesidad de patrocinar y gestionar la diversidad, hay que guiar a los estudiantes universitarios en su formación inicial a leer, de una forma, donde el conocimiento no esté reñido con el placer del texto de determinada especialidad, sino sea una lectura de información, de disfrute, de diversión y de conocimiento.

ABSTRACT

The teaching of Literature in the university initial training process poses, with very few exceptions, a dominantly expository character. However, every-day practice and experience impose the use of new ways in order to facilitate student's more active and participative exchange. In a world where globalization, the impact of information and communication technologies, the administration of knowledge and the need to sponsor and promote diversity programs are so evident aspects, university students must be guided in their initial training process to read in such a way that reading for knowledge does not antagonize with the pleasure of reading any type of text. Reading should become an activity of enlightening, enjoyment, fun, and knowledge acquisition.
