¿Cómo disminuir el tabaquismo en el nicho?
Abstract
Se realizó un estudio de intervención en el Consultorio Médico de la Familia de El Nicho del Policlínico Aracelio Rodríguez Castellón del municipio Cumanayagua provincia Cienfuegos, durante el período comprendido de enero a junio del 2014. Se aplicaron técnicas educativas previa caracterización de los participantes. Las diferentes acciones de salud que se pusieron en práctica estuvieron encaminadas a reducir la prevalencia de fumadores en las que se utilizaron métodos educativos como: charlas, videos debate y conferencias, Festivales recreativos educativos de salud, talleres, dinámica de grupos debates. Las técnicas de intervención educativa fueron de gran utilidad para la desestimulación tabáquica en nuestra estrategia, sin embargo, los resultados obtenidos en el tratamiento del tabaquismo no son todo lo satisfactorios que se desearían.

ABSTRACTA study of intervention in the Doctor´s Office of El Nicho, belonging to the Polyclinic Aracelio Rodriguez Castellon from the municipality of Cumanayagua, Cienfuegos; was developed from January to June in 2014. Educative techniques were applied taking into account the participants´ characterisation. The different health actions carried out in the area were targeted to the reduction of the predominance of smokers using educative methods, such as: talks, video-debates, lectures, health care-related educative and recreative festivals, workshops and group debate dynamics. The educative intervention techniques were highly useful to the reduction of smoking stimulation in our strategy; however, the results we achieved in the treatment of smoking were not as pleasant as we expected them to be.
