La promoción sociocultural para la socialización de la obra plástica de Santiago García González en Cruces

Abstract

El tema afrocubano en la obra plástica de Santiago García González permite demostrar la contribución del artista como vanguardia artística al desarrollo de la cultura local de Cruces. Santiago es Licenciado en Estudios Socioculturales, artista plástico y humorista, miembro de la ACAA, instructor de Artes Plásticas de la Casa de la Cultura Enrique Cantero Ibáñez de Cruces. Colaborador del semanario 5 de septiembre, La Picúa, el Montañéz, miembro fundador del Grupo Huellas, y ha dedicado parte de su vida a la creación gráfica, abordando específicamente el tema afrocubano. Sin embargo aún se carece de estudios que demuestren la contribución de su creación al desarrollo de la cultura en Cruces, aspecto que conlleva a la realización del presente trabajo investigativo que tiene como objetivo valorar la importancia de la promoción sociocultural para la socialización de la obra del artista de la plástica Santiago García González en Cruces.

ABSTRACT

The Afro-Cuban theme in the plastic work of Santiago González allows to demonstrate the contribution of the artist like artistic vanguard to the development of the local culture of Cruces. Santiago is graduated in Socio-Cultural Studies, plastic and humoristic artist, member of the ACAA, instructor of Plastic Arts of the Culture House Enrique Cantero Ibáñez of Cruces. He is a collaborator of the weekly newspaper 5 de Septiembre, La Picúa, El Montañéz, founder member of the group Huellas, and he has dedicated part from his life to the graphic Creation, discussing the Afro-Cuban theme specifically. However he still lacks of studies that demonstrate the contribution from his creation to the development of the culture in Cruces, aspect that Santiago García González in Cruces bears of the present investigating work that aims at estimating the importance of the socio-cultural promotion for the socialization of the work of the artist of plastic arts to the realization.
