El GeoGebra: una herramienta tecnológica para aprender matemática en la Secundaria Básica haciendo matemática

Resumen

Si bien es cierto que la enseñanza de la tecnología es un imperativo estratégico en el presente siglo, su utilización en el proceso de enseñanza–aprendizaje de las ciencias es de vital importancia, no solo para motivar a los alumnos a aprender ciencias, sino también para aprender ciencias haciendo ciencias. En este sentido, el software GeoGebra, se presenta como un candidato de extraordinario valor en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la matemática, ya que no solo permite resolver de manera rápida y segura los más variados y diversos problemas que se presentan en el aprendizaje de esta asignatura, sino también, porque es una herramienta que permite estimular y desarrollar la creatividad de los alumnos, al permitirle descubrir y construir los conocimientos que son objeto de estudio. En este trabajo se ilustra cómo utilizar esta herramienta tecnológica en la educación secundaria básica, para reconocer, identificar y buscar nuevas relaciones y dependencias entre entes matemáticos que constituyen objeto de estudio en este nivel de enseñanza.

ABSTRACT

While it is true that the teaching of technology is a strategic imperative in this century, its use in the teaching - learning process of science is of vital importance, not only to motivate students to learn science, but also to learn science by doing science. In this sense, the GeoGebra software is presented as a candidate of extraordinary value in the teaching - learning process of mathematics, since it, not only allows to solve quickly and safely the most varied and diverse problems that arise in the learning of mathematics, this subject is also a tool that stimulates and develops the creativity of students by allowing them to discover and build the knowledge that is its object of study. This paper illustrates how to use this technological tool in basic secondary education, to recognize, identify and seek new relationships and dependencies among mathematical entities that is the object of study at this level of education.
