La educación humana de las enfermeras en pacientes pre y pos parto

Resumen

La educación humana del personal de enfermería interfiere y ejerce una función importante en la duración y calidad de vida de las pacientes pre y posparto si este sucede en un tiempo prolongado. El estudio realizado tuvo como objetivo general: determinar la relación que existe entre la educación humana de las enfermeras y la evolución de las pacientes pre y posparto. Se realizó un diagnóstico sobre la educación humana de las enfermeras mediante la aplicación de encuestas y entrevistas con la ayuda del método IADOV para determinar el nivel de satisfacción de las pacientes pre y posparto con la atención brindada por las enfermeras. Entre los resultados se destaca que el 21% no explica al paciente el procedimiento a realizar, el 63% señala que no está preparado para brindar cuidados humanizados en el pre y posparto y el 56% de la encuestada respondió que tienen dudas con respecto a los cuidados humanizados para las complicaciones más frecuentes que se presentan tanto en el pre como en el posparto inmediato. Se hace necesario implementar estrategias de intervención para mejorar la calidad del servicio de enfermería brindado a las pacientes pre y posparto.

ABSTRACT

The humane education of the nursing staff interferes and plays an important role in the duration and quality of life of pre and post partum patients if this happens over a long period of time. The general objective of the study was to determine the relationship between nurses' humane education and the evolution of pre and post partum patients. A diagnosis of the nurses' humane education was made by means of surveys and interviews with the help of the IADOV method to determine the level of satisfaction of pre and post partum patients with the care provided by the nurses. Among the results, it stands out that 21% do not explain to the patient the procedure to be performed, 63% indicate that they are not prepared to provide humanized care in pre and post partum and 56% of the respondent answered that they have doubts regarding humanized care for the most frequent complications that occur both in pre and immediate postpartum. Therefore, it is necessary to implement intervention strategies to improve the quality of nursing services provided to pre and postpartum patients.
