Factores que influyen en el acceso a la educación virtual en estudiantes de básica media.

Abstract

El presente artículo diagnostica el conocimiento de los estudiantes en la utilización de las TIC y establece los factores limitantes que tiene la educación virtual. La metodología es cuantitativa y de alcance descriptivo. Se aplicó la encuesta a los estudiantes evaluando los aspectos socioeconómico, tecnológico, familiar y cultural. Los resultados encontrados señalan que el factor tecnológico, económico y cultural no son limitativos para el acceso a la educación virtual. Se resalta la necesidad de mayor capacitación en temáticas tecnológicas y propuestas de estrategias innovadoras educativas dentro y fuera del aula. Se recomienda primordialmente a la Institución Educativa y al personal docente que potencien diferentes tipos de estrategias e intervenciones educativas para fortalecer el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la modalidad virtual.

 ABSTRACT

This article diagnoses students' knowledge in the use of ICT and establishes the limiting factors of virtual education. The methodology is quantitative and descriptive in scope. The survey was applied to the students evaluating the socioeconomic, technological, family and cultural aspects. The results found indicate that the technological, economic and cultural factors are not limiting for access to virtual education. The need for greater training in technological topics and proposals for innovative educational strategies inside and outside the classroom are highlighted. It is primarily recommended that the Educational Institution and teaching staff promote different types of educational strategies and interventions to strengthen the teaching-learning process in the virtual modality.
