Pedagogical competencies of teachers for educational inclusion in virtual learning environments
Abstract
A research work is presented that addresses the pedagogical competencies of teachers for educational inclusion in virtual learning environments. From the review of the literature, the application of a survey to teachers and an interview with managers, information is obtained about the development of four types of pedagogical competencies in teachers from different educational establishments located in six provinces of Ecuador. The results show that inadequacies remain in the presence of cultural, pedagogical, technological and personal competencies. From these results, actions are presented that can contribute to the development of these competencies, all of which should contribute to the achievement of effective inclusive processes in virtual learning environments.
