Criterios en la detección de talentos deportivos para el Taekwondo en edades tempranas

Abstract

La investigación busca determinar el proceso de detección de talentos deportivos en edades tempranas enfatizando en la categoría infantiles de 9 a 10 años, en la provincia del Azuay, tiene un alcance descriptivo de campo, con un enfoque cuantitativo, utilizando métodos teóricos, empíricos y estadístico – matemáticos, la población del estudio fueron niños que participaron en las colonias vacacionales de Federación Deportiva del Azuay 2022, se aplicó mediciones antropométricas y test de eficiencia física, la mayoría de niños habían practicado muy poco actividades deportivas, obteniendo, como resultado que el 41,2 % de los niños evaluados cumplen con ciertas características físicas, para ser considerados como posibles talentos dentro del taekwondo, pudiendo de esta forma insertarlos dentro de este deporte para que cumplan el proceso de iniciación y formación, elevando así el nivel competitivo dentro de la provincia, de igual forma poder implementar este proceso de selección de talentos en clubes formativos, ligas cantonales y en federaciones deportivas provinciales, para poder potenciar este deporte, teniendo así una base sólida para la obtención de resultados a largo plazo a nivel mundial y olímpico.

 ABSTRACT

The research seeks to determine the process of detecting sports talents at an early age, emphasizing the children's category from 9 to 10 years, in the province of Azuay, it has a descriptive field scope, with a quantitative approach, using theoretical, empirical and statistical methods. – Mathematicians, the study population were children who attend the vacation camps of the Azuay Sports Federation 2022, anthropometric measurements and physical efficiency tests were applied, most of the children had practiced very little sports activities, obtaining, as a result, 41 2% of the children evaluated meet certain physical characteristics, to be considered as possible talents within taekwondo, thus being able to insert them into this sport so that they complete the initiation and training process, thus raising the competitive level within the province, in the same way to be able to implement this talent selection process in clubs s training, cantonal leagues and in the provincial sports federation, in order to promote this sport, thus having a solid base for obtaining long-term results at the world and Olympic level.
