Tecnología Blockchain en Educación: una revisión sistemática

Abstract

El objetivo del estudio fue analizar la información existente respecto a la tecnología blockchain en la educación. Se desarrolló con un diseño bibliográfico, mediante un estudio de revisión sistemática. La técnica utilizada fue el análisis documental, como instrumento se utilizó el fichaje, la computadora y sus unidades de almacenamiento. Para el estudio se seleccionaron 10 artículos científicos de la base de datos Scopus, con fecha de publicación entre los años 2021 a 2022, teniendo como idioma de prioridad español e inglés, se descartaron los artículos duplicados y los que no manejaran como temática central la tecnología blockchain en educación. Para facilitar la ubicación y la gestión de referencias se utilizó el gestor Zotero y el motor de búsqueda Google Académico. Los resultados señalan que la tecnología blockchain en el contexto educativo se emplea principalmente para emitir y verificar credenciales académicas, comunicar las competencias y los logros de aprendizaje de los estudiantes y evaluar su potencial profesional, almacenamiento de información, evitar el plagio de información, entre muchas otras aplicaciones. En algunos de los estudios se encontraron limitaciones de la tecnología blockchain en el contexto educativo.

 ABSTRACT

The objective of the study was to analyze the existing information regarding blockchain technology in education. It was developed with a bibliographic design, through a systematic review study. The technique used was documentary analysis, as an instrument the filing, the computer and its storage units were used. For the study, 10 scientific articles were selected from the Scopus database, with a publication date between 2021 and 2022, with Spanish and English as the priority language, duplicate articles and those that did not handle technology as a central theme were discarded. blockchain in education. To facilitate the location and management of references, the Zotero manager and the Google Scholar search engine were used. The results indicate that blockchain technology in the educational context is mainly used to issue and verify academic credentials, communicate the competences and learning achievements of students and evaluate their professional potential, information storage, avoid information plagiarism, among many other apps. Some of the studies found limitations of blockchain technology in the educational context.
