Los derechos humanos y la educación en el Ecuador

Abstract

Este estudio de investigación aborda la actual problemática de violación continua de los derechos humanos en Ecuador, incluyendo la discrepancia entre una amplia Constitución y la falta de aplicabilidad práctica resalta la importancia de que el Estado asuma su rol en la protección de los derechos fundamentales. El sistema de educación trabaja en función de lograr una concientización y el cumplimiento de los derechos humanos en la sociedad, pero ese proceso parte de las funciones de la familia, la sociedad y las instituciones gubernamentales. El estudio muestra los niveles existentes en el trabajo de las instituciones educativas y las violaciones de derechos humanos que prevalecen en el Ecuador. Las actuales normas requieren de una mayor reglamentación y exigencia por el cumplimiento de los derechos de los ciudadanos a todos los niveles establecidos.

ABSTRACT

This research study addresses the current problem of continuous violation of human rights in Ecuador, including the discrepancy between a broad Constitution and the lack of practical applicability, highlighting the importance of the State assuming its role in the protection of fundamental rights. The education system works to achieve awareness and compliance with human rights in society, but this process is based on the functions of the family, society and government institutions. The study shows the existing levels in the work of educational institutions and the human rights violations that prevail in Ecuador. The current regulations require greater regulation and demand for compliance with the rights of citizens at all established levels.
