La investigación cualitativa, una herramienta ética en el ámbito pedagógico

Resumen

Las investigaciones cualitativas se caracterizan por las relaciones que se establecen entre el investigador y los participantes de ahí la importancia de la ética como garante del rigor científico en las indagaciones; lo que también debe estar presente en las investigaciones pedagógicas donde se utiliza este paradigma. El presente trabajo descriptivo de tipo revisión bibliográfica sustentado en los métodos, hermenéutico y análisis de contenido, tiene por objetivo el análisis, desde un posicionamiento crítico de la presencia de la ética en la investigación pedagógica con enfoque cualitativo. Entre los principales resultados se encuentran, la caracterización de las investigaciones cualitativas, sus principales métodos y técnicas, los fundamentos y elementos éticos, y su empleo en el ámbito pedagógico para el estudio de las relaciones sociales al interior de las instituciones educativas en la consecución de los objetivos de los sistemas de enseñanza y de la escuela con la comunidad como agente de cambio, así como objeto de estudio en el currículo de las carreras pedagógicas desde el punto de vista cognitivo y axiológico. Se concluye que, las investigaciones cualitativas constituyen una valiosa herramienta ética para la formación integral de los futuros docentes.

ABSTRACT

Qualitative research is characterized by the relationships established between the researcher and the participants, hence the importance of ethics as guarantor of scientific rigor in inquiries; which must also be present in the pedagogical investigations where this paradigm is used. The present descriptive work of the bibliographic review type based on the methods, hermeneutics and content analysis, aims to analyze from a critical position the presence of ethics in pedagogical research with a qualitative approach. Among the main results are the characterization of qualitative research, its main methods and techniques, the foundations and ethical elements, and its use in the pedagogical field for the study of social relations within educational institutions in achieving the objectives of the teaching systems and the school with the community as an agent of change, as well as an object of study in the curriculum of pedagogical careers from the cognitive and axiological point of view. It is concluded, that qualitative research constitutes a valuable ethical tool for the comprehensive training of future teachers.
